Alexander`s Pizza in Eagle River

We are here in the off season so there is only carry out or we could eat inside but no table service. Pizza was great. Hot with generous toppings. Choice of thin or hand tossed. Very basic restaurant but worth it. We will eat here again in the future.

Was a 45 minute wait, but they told us up front. It was tasty pizza with lots of options available. A definite plus when camping and eating the typical camping food for a week.

Not recommended. Overpriced! Plain pizza and plain breadsticks

I could give them one third of a star. If you're not local?Do not buy pizza here. We bought pizza for a large group. (10 pizzas). When we got back and opened? A couple were burned. They were poorly labeled and we couldn't even tell which was which. (See photos) They were marked in code. Worst of all when I got back home I reviewed the bill and their prices online. We got overcharged by $25 or $30. The pizzas didn't even taste that good. Our young man were starving and ate them without much comment except " these aren't too good". New employees? Wrong temperature in the oven? Who knows. If we ever have to order here again I'm going to check everything before I leave the door, check the bill and make sure they use a marker to label which is which. Doubt I will make that mistake again.

Very good pizza, small place, not much seating. Butch's is nestled in the old senic down town Eagle River. They offer delivery too. Will order from again next time we are in town.

Pizza is great but the phone is busy every time I call to place an order. Stop putting your phone off the hook. It's almost as you don't want orders.

I ordered the Chicken Ranch Pizza and it was delicious. I was able to substitute the tomato for onion at no extra charge. The pizza was a little expensive ($25 plus tax for a large), but much enjoyed.

Pizza was good, but way too expensive!Save yourself some money and buy from Pizza Hut.

I am very angry that the waffles were burnt and the toes were cold my coffee tasted like been soup and the ice cream tasted like pizza NOT DESIRABLE

The BEST pizza in the Northwoods!

Just had 6 calzones and they were awesome. The crust was flaky, just perfect with lots of filling, and so good. They were definitely made with TLC!

This is how my wife and I start every vacation we take up here! Butches has the best thin crust I have ever had! Being from the valley it is spot on! Thanks for the pizza!

Pizza was much better than you'd expect for Northern Wisconsin, the price reflects the quality, but you can go so many other places if you just want cruddy pizza. Service is usually great, but I can imagine it being understaffed on high traffic weekends, just like every other place in a tourist town so it's not an issue.

Happy friendly staff, clean and well organized restaurant with awesome food!!! Yummy and beautifully prepared pizza, I tried the Spinach Garlic and 3 cheese pizza and it was awesome! My husband went for the meat lover option and enjoyed it immensely also!!! What more could any weary traveler ask for!!! We were taken by the amount of people strolling up and down the older city sidewalks at night....just truly a safe and intriguing area. ☆☆☆☆☆ A must visit ♡ Thank you ☆☆☆☆☆

Fast delivery, delicious thin crust and it was piping hot out of the pizza wrapper! Excellent first meal choice for us after a long day of travel!

Great pizza and fantastic customer service. Staff was extremely attentive and welcoming. Slightly expensive ($25 for a medium pizza and 2 drinks) but we'd still recommend it. The sauce was great and holy cheese! We'll come back if we're ever back in the area, for sure!

Good food, terrible customer service. My friend and I tried calling in an order and we had to wait 10 to 15 minutes while a worker was on the phone and they had also hung up on us twice.

Always a “MUST DO” when we come up north. It doesn’t matter what pizza you order, it will be packed with ingredients and flavor. I did lose $.50 in the quarter machine, I won’t hold that against them!

You can get thin or hand tossed. Hand tossed is $1.80 more for a large..? Toppings are hidden by a generous amount of cheese. Enjoyed it!

Good food, only 4 tables if you stay to eat. It happened to be quiet when we were there so we stayed. Thin crust cut into squares so lots of middle - my favorite :)

There thin crust is the best. The Butch's special is really good.

Fantastic Service, and GREAT thin crust pizza. Every trip I take up to our family cabin includes at least one stop to butch's pizza; sometimes two! Eagle River doesn't have a ton of pizza options and Butch's is amazing compared to Alexanders which quite frankly is a ripoff. You want great pizza at a solid price...go to Butch's. You won't be disappointed.

Personally I think it’s overpriced for a samall pizza with just cheese, but the quality of the pizza is delicious! I always enjoy it!

Pizza sauce is the best in these lands. Our party of 6 traveled far and wide. Severely famished, we found ourselves at this humble establishment. As we awaited our order, we sang along to "Stacey's mom" and " another one bites the dust" among other pleasant tunes.

Excellent pizza, fast service, would give them 6 stars if I could. Prices are reasonable and toppings are plentiful. Sauce is mild, not too spicy. Can always add some heat if that's what you like but our crew likes it mild. Nothing worse than spicy if you like mild. You can add heat but you can't remove it. Theirs is perfect. Highly recommended.

Pizzas are made fresh when you order and they do a great job. Offering delivery to limited area now. Butch's special pizza is great. Also their calzones are very tasty.

Over priced pizza is acceptable in taste, but the "police state" atmosphere regarding food or drink from off the premises is just not customer friendly. We had some poor vegan hippies in our group (who only eat "their" food), we ordered $60+ worth of food and drink, then got lectured about how it's not allowed to have any food not purchased there. OK, it's your store, you make the rules, but you lost my business. I will spend my money with friendlier merchants. Still amazed at the rudeness.

Nice, friendly, and fast service. Pizza was good, but there was just something off about the taste. Don't know if it was the sauce or not, but wasn't necessarily bad, as I still enjoyed my pizza. Conveniently located right on Eagle Rivers downtown strip.

First time customer, stopped in to order a pizza after a long hike. Friendly, fast service and terrific pizza. I'm from the Milwaukee-Chicago corridor, where we have fantastic tavern-style thin crust pizza. Butch's is just as good. I'll be back!

Pleasantly surprised. For a little pizza place way up in northern Wisconsin, it was like any decent pizza parlor. It had that fantastic smell right when you walk in of fresh pizza. Definitely would go back.

Great pizza. Very tasty. Attentive service. Location is just a little small but we were lucky to get their last table.
